Who is behind the real squid game?

The Squid Game series has been admired by many who have watched it, and this is due to many reasons, including the series’ unique and somewhat new idea, which is outside the traditional framework, and the distinction in directing, in addition to the distinction and success of Korean drama.

Of course, as is the custom for any successful series that has achieved a lot of views and profits, the platform producing the artwork has begun producing new parts, perhaps countless.

- The truth about the Squid Game series:

Although the evidence for the existence of the Squid Game series is not confirmed, and it is likely that it will not be proven, due to the presence of influential people behind the story, which led to the emergence of many different narratives on the subject.

Although the accounts of the location where the real story took place differed slightly, with some talking about Australia, the overwhelming majority of opinions say that the place is South Korea.

- The beginning of the story:

The events began in the 1980s, between 1982 and 1986, when a large number of people began to disappear in South Korea, including women and men of all ages. However, the common factor between all these people who disappeared is that they are poor and no one cares about them, so their disappearance will not raise any suspicions.

The idea of a campaign to clean the streets of South Korea of homeless people began before the Seoul Olympics in 1988.

- Similarities between the series and the real story:

According to the real story, the people were transported in cars similar to those shown in the series, and it was not possible to see what was happening outside, and therefore it was not possible to know the route they were taking. Upon arrival, the place was very similar to a prison, with a large number of guards in matching uniforms and masks, and they were torturing anyone who objected, to turn the kidnapped into mere numbers without names.

- Discovering the story:

There are many stories about how the matter was discovered, including the escape of a person from inside the prison, and in another story, a person was walking in that uninhabited area and discovered the place, and that person was working in the judiciary when he saw the prison and began searching for the truth behind it, where he discovered that the place was not the only one, but rather one of two or three places in the country that were established ostensibly under the pretext of rehabilitating homeless and poor people, but the truth is completely different.

- Believe it or not:

The subject may seem like a fantasy to some, but from a personal point of view, what happened in the detention centers in Syria is also a fantasy, in addition to the torture that the detainees were subjected to there and the prison guards’ exposure of their torture of their victims on the dark web, and other terrifying stories told by prisoners in the prisons of the deposed Syrian regime, in addition to what we saw on the screens would have been considered a fantasy had it not been for the fall of the Syrian president’s regim, especially since the situation in South Korea at that time was not the same as it is today in terms of the level of security and democracy that the country enjoys today, and the project was under the cover of a social charity on the surface.

Some people still believe that the Squid series is just a fictional work and all this artificial hype is just to attract more viewers for the new parts.

However, evidence has emerged that the story actually took place somewhere, where a group of people met in mysterious circumstances in a strange location that bears a striking resemblance to the series, with narrow corridors and brightly colored walls, with reports of deadly games that took place there, huge bets, and secrets buried with those who participated. Is the Squid Game just a fantasy, or is the truth more dangerous and strange than we imagine?
