The most complex border in the world

The borders of countries draw the end lines where one country ends and the borders of another country begin, and they determine the map and the area that that country owns and differ from one country to another.

There is no doubt that many wars have occurred between countries as a result of the lack of understanding and agreement among them on how to divide those borders, such as the Sino-Indian war that occurred between the two largest countries in terms of population in the world, or the war between Thailand and Cambodia as well, and many others.

However, the borders that we will talk about today are completely different.

They are among the most complex borders in the world. Despite this, both countries were able to achieve complete understanding and absolute agreement on coordination to manage the overlapping areas between them.

- The UAE-Oman border:

These borders are characterized by their complexity in terms of geographical overlap, but they are characterized by their simplicity in terms of the agreement between the two countries to achieve security, safety, and the best services for the residents of the overlapping areas of the two countries.

- The Omani region within the United Arab Emirates:

The Omani region located within the UAE is called the territory of Madha, It is surrounded on all sides by the UAE and it is located in the middle of the road between the Emirate of Fujairah and Khor Fakkan, which is part of the Emirate of Sharjah. It is an area rich in charming natural places and archaeological sites dating back to ancient times, reaching 1500 years BC.

- The Emirati region within Oman:

The UAE which is located in Oman territories is the Nahwi region, It is surrounded on all sides by the Madha region of the Sultanate of Oman. Which is affiliated with the Emirate of Sharjah, one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates.

- The internal borders between the seven emirates:

The borders between the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates are also complex, but the cornerstone policy between the seven emirates, the foundation stone of which was laid by His Highness Sheikh Zayed, the founder of the state, was based on understanding and peace between the emirates that make up the state, and It led to the consolidation of unity among the seven emirates and the achievement of a strong and harmonious state, and that policy was reflected in stability and prosperity for all parties.

The United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman have proven that it is possible to agree through peace on coordination to manage regions and borders, as the borders between the two countries are a living model to be emulated in avoiding border disputes.

The United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman were able to preserve the rights of each other without human losses or lives, but on the contrary, to increase cooperation and strengthen relations between the two countries on the official and popular levels.
